Volunteer
There are several capacities in which you can get involved with Mariposa’s Art. Depending on your interests and availability, you can volunteer once or on an ongoing basis. Opportunities available at this time are based on four general categories:
1. PROGRAMS – Get involved in one of our after-school programs and work directly with youth! If you are interested in volunteering in a classroom setting, you can volunteer in our classes in Pajaro Valley/Watsonville or Santa Cruz. In order to volunteer within California State schools, you will need to pass a TB test and a fingerprint background check. Please contact Sarah if you have questions.
2. ADMIN – Help facilitate miscellaneous administration in our Santa Cruz office.
3. SUPPLIES – Learn what it takes to be a Supply Packer, contribute your artistic skills, and help prepare art supplies for our programs!
4. EVENTS – Help us with tasks related to our annual fundraiser, donor and volunteer appreciation parties, or other special events.
Filling out the attached form will give us a better idea of your unique gifts so that we can match you with volunteer opportunities that fit. Feel free to call or email Sarah at the Cultural Council to set up a volunteer meeting.
